Stork kiest voor Ezwim’s Telecom Service Management (TSM™)
Workflow management dienst realiseert een tijdsbesparing van 75%

Amsterdam, 17 maart 2009 - Stork heeft gekozen voor Ezwim’s Telecom Service Management (TSM™) om haar telecomopdrachten, zoals de bestelling van telefoons en abonnementen, te stroomlijnen en te standaardiseren. Stork koos voor TSM™ omdat ze daarmee het Service Management kunnen automatiseren zodat haar meer dan 150 dochterondernemingen eenvoudig en foutloos telecom services kunnen bestellen. TSM™ automatiseert bij Stork onder meer workflows die telefoonorders, abonnementswijzigingen, aanvragen van nieuwe abonnementen en storingsmeldingen bevatten. TSM™ is volledig geïntegreerd met Ezwim’s Telecom Management diensten waardoor een sterk verbeterde gebruikersomgeving is ontstaan. Ezwim heeft haar service provider partner Micpoint ingeschakeld bij de implementatie.

TSM™ van Ezwim is een workflow management dienst die een aantal gestandaardiseerde telecomprocessen vereenvoudigt, automatiseert en inzichtelijk maakt. Door de inzet van TSM™ wordt de doorlooptijd van aanvragen veel korter, hoeven gegevens slechts één keer in het systeem te worden ingevoerd en is duidelijk bij wie op welk moment welke actie ligt. Acties kunnen hierdoor veel sneller en efficiënter worden uitgevoerd. De oplossing is speciaal ontwikkeld voor organisaties die in een complexe omgeving opereren waarin veelvuldig wordt gewerkt met derden zoals operators, logistieke providers et cetera.

About Stork
Stork increases the effectiveness and efficiency of its customers’ industrial production processes. Business Challenge
Stork has been working with Ezwim’s Telecom Expense Management (TEMTM) service for many years to gain insight into telecommunications assets and costs at a central level as well as locally across its more than 150 subsidiaries. The company recognized that they could further improve its Telecom Management by professionalising and standardising the order process; at that time there was no central mechanism that could coordinate MACD (Move, Add, Change or Delete) requests across the organization. Telecommunications services and devices were ordered locally by Stork’s subsidiaries with limited guidance on what to buy. This situation created a wide range of telecommunication services and equipment across the organisation and caused errors as in many cases devices with wrong subscriptions were ordered. This situation was frustrating to Stork’s employees as well as costly and time-consuming for the organisation.

Stork wanted to realise a service that would continue to give Stork’s subsidiaries the autonomy to order their own telecommunications services but at the same time help them to order the right devices and subscriptions and centralise all requests in one place.
Stork turned to Micpoint for guidance. The Micpoint team recommended Stork to extend the Ezwim TEMTM service with Telecom Service Management (TSMTM). TSMTM effectively is a workflow management service that defines standard workflow procedures for complex tasks. This will result in zero mistakes in standard activities and instant assignment of tasks. Enterprises can be more efficient and lower operational cost by adding TSM to their Telecom Expense Management Services to help them to control every aspect of their telecommunications.
Adding TSMTM services allows Stork to create a single tool to manage telecommunications, the service automates telecom-related processes and eliminates manual errors by stepping away from paper-based order procedures as much as possible.

How Ezwim and Micpoint helped
Ezwim teamed with Micpoint and Stork to develop a comprehensive overview of all of Stork’s workflows related to telecommunications. The workflows are tailored to meet the company’s requirements.
The Ezwim/Micpoint/Stork team agreed on a phased approach for implementation of TSMTM. The team agreed to go fully operational within two months.
